About John W. Rohrer

With over 35 years in public accounting, John W. Rohrer CPA understands business and has a broad depth of experience in assisting clients in understanding strategies that minimize taxes and maximize business longevity while continually working toward a stronger balance sheet.

John has worked for a "Big 4" accounting firm, as the CFO of a manufacturing company and has done specialized project analysis for major West Michigan public corporations and their boards. He spent a decade as a professor at Spring Arbor University, a Michigan liberal arts university where he wrote the curriculum for the accounting major. His teaching skills are an integral part of his ability to understand and communicate with his clients today.

With his wife Violet, John is an active Rotarian and John has served as a past president. He also served as village treasurer for a term and has been the financial chair at his church for many years. He received his MBA from Grand Valley State University.
